ON EXHIBIT: Video Projection for Transfigura Object, “Transfiguration/Apotheosis by the River Styx” sound work is a discordant conglomeration of John Williams’ Imperial March and Richard Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries. The figures in the video are icons of the Lopez Museum and Library Collection. The work is inspired by the Lopez Museum masterpiece, La Barca de Aqueronte by Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo, 19th-century Filipino Master.
