Florante is a major source for my art of Mythopoeia Filipiniana.

The Philippines is by no means lacking in Epics and Mythology. The philosophy of Mythopoeia Filipiniana works on Allegory much like what Dante Alighieri and Francisco Balagtas did with Greco-Roman Mythology in Inferno and Florante.

Another idea in the philosophy of Mythopoeia Filipiniana is the Wold Newton concept.
